NEW YORK--New York Air National Guard Senior Airman Holly Niro, a member of Joint Task Force Empire Shield, watches for suspicious activity at Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport, on New Year’s Eve. Members of the New York National Guard’s security task force in New York City will be on duty throughout New Year’s celebrations to assist law enforcement and other security agencies protect New York State citizens and interests.
