Grenade On The Way

FORT DRUM--New York Army National Guard Sgt 1st Class Victor Lopez, the retention NCO for Company G 427th Brigade Support Battalion tosses a practice grenade during pre-mobilization training being conducted here on May 9. More than 2,200 members of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team are slated to deploy to Afghanistan in 2012 and are training at Fort Drum in May and June.
