27th Infantry Brigade Rolls Out for NTC Training

NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER, FORT IRWIN, Calif. - Troops assigned to the New York Army National Guard’s 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry, depart from a staging area for field training exercises, Oct. 6. The troops will conduct weapons live-fire and collecting force on force training as part of the NTC rotation. The Soldiers are training here as part of the unit’s preparations for mobilization and deployment to Afghanistan with the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team in early 2012. U.S. Army photo by Spc.
