Joint Chief’s Boss Visits 69th Infantry

NEW YORK CITY-- General Martin Dempsey, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff leads members of the New York Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion 69th Infantry in a chorus of "The Fighting 69th", an Irish folk song about the regiment, at the Lexington Avenue Armory on March 17 during St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations. Dempsey joined the Soldiers to recognize the 69ths unique role in leading the St. Patrick’s Day Parade each year.
