SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- New York Army National Guard Col. The reunion, held in Albany, runs from July 12-14th. Melinek served in the division’s 42nd Chemical Company during WWII. This year marks the first large-scale gathering of the division’s Iraq war veterans under the foundation leadership of its latest chairmen, retired Maj. Gen. Joseph Taluto.
