Guard Soldier Works With Afghan Teachers

SPIN BOLDAK, Afghanistan-- New York Army National Guard Sgt. Andrew Brechko ( far left) leads an Afghan teachers seminar held at Forward Operating Base Spin Boldak here on Oct. 12, 2012. Brechko, a member of the the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and a Binghamton, NY native, led the class, which focused on teaching strategies like student assessment, teacher collaboration and establishing clear teaching objectives.
