Rainbow Commander Visits Troops in Kuwait

CAMP BUEHRING, KUWAIT -- Maj. Gen. Steven N. Wickstrom, commander of the New York Army National Guard’s 42nd Infantry Division (left), shakes hands with Spc. Vanessa Banks, of Niagara Falls, N.Y. (right) during Wickstrom’s visit here on Nov. 23. Banks and about 100 other troops of the New York Army National Guard’s 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team are serving with the 4th Battalion, 118th Infantry Regiment, South Carolina Army National Guard, which assumed security force and camp-operations missions in Northern Kuwait in April.
