109th Spouses take orientation flight

STRATTON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE -- Spouses of Airmen assigned to the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing stand before ski-equipped LC-130 Hercules on Oct. 21, 2016 before taking an orientation flight. "The spouse orientation flights are part of an incentive flight program designed to familiarize the military spouse with our unit's aircraft/mission and to enhance understanding of our contribution to the U.S. Air Force," said Col. Christian Sander, 109th Operations Group commander.
