LATHAM-- Major General Ray Shields the Adjutant General of New Yorkremoves the major rank from Lt. Col. Brandon Gendrons uniform as his wife Suzanne looks on with his children Jack and Kyleigh during promotion ceremonies on Friday January 31 at New York National Guard headquarters in Latham N.Y. Gendron who was commissioned as an officer in 2004 serves as the Training Officer for the New York Army National Guard and has been selected to command the 204th Engineer Battalion.
