WASHINGTON--New York Army National Guard Soldiers with the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team stand in formation with U.S. Capitol Police officers as a department trainer explains various civil disturbance response techniques during a training event in Washington D.C. Feb. 20 2021. The National Guard has been requested to continue supporting federal law enforcement agencies with security communications medical evacuation logistics and safety support to state district and federal agencies through mid-March.
