NYS DMNA Education Services Find the Right Program GED Testing and Preparation Program

Receive ARNG Federal Tuition Assistance for 100% of the costs associated with obtaining a high school diploma or GED and take the GED test for free.

All Guardmembers who do not yet have a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) can:

  • Receive reimbursed ARNG Federal Tuition Assistance for 100% of the costs associated with obtaining a high school diploma or GED, including tuition, books and fees
  • Request reimbursement for the cost of the initial five-part GED testing battery and subsequent retests, if necessary. Procedures for reimbursement of the test cost will be coordinated directly with Education Office staff.
