Oyster Bay Fort / Encampment

Oyster Bay Fort: 1779-81, Nassau County, Town of Oyster Bay. A British fortification of a hill. Occupied by Simcoe's Queens Rangers. Not attacked by Americans during the war. Site is at Orchard and Prospect Streets.
