26th Independent Battery Guidon

The NYS Battle Flag Collection includes two flags carried by the 26th Independent Battery including this silk, swallowtail guidon in the “stars and stripes” pattern prescribed in General Order No. 4, dated January 18, 1862. Approximately 60% of the flag is lost. (2004.0089)
