3rd Artillery, Battery E Guidon

The NYS Battle Flag Collection includes one flag attributed to Battery E, 3rd Artillery (Light), NY Volunteers, a silk swallowtail guidon in the “stars and stripes” pattern as prescribed in General Order No. 4, dated January 18, 1862. Approximately 40% of the flag remains including only twelve stars in the canton. (2004.0052)
