6th Cavalry Marker

This blue, silk flank marker carried by the 6th Regiment Cavalry has significant losses. Based upon comparisons to other similiar flags, this marker featured painted inscriptions, "N.Y.S.V." and 'CAVALRY." in addition to a red, oval shield painted in the center. (2003.0094)
