169th Infantry flag

This blue silk regimental features the painted arms of the United States in center and gold-colored fine silk tassel fringe along three sides. The ribbon below the eagle does not contain a regimental identification. A 1"-wide section of vertical loss is evident through the center of the flag. Blue fabric was placed behind the flag to mask the loss.(00.153)

See the 169th Infantry Regiment History Page for more information about the unit.
