59th New York Volunteer Infantry Flank Marker

This cream-colored silk flank marker carried by the 59th Regiment NY Volunteer Infantry features 1” long metallic bullion fringe and an embroidered inscription, “59th Regt/N.Y.S.V." The inscription includes brown and black-colored silk embroidered highlights. Approximately 70% of the flag's surface area is stained from particulate soil. (2002.0064)
