This triangular-shaped, wool designating flag with a reverse appliquéd red silk lozenge in the center adheres to General Orders No 53, dated May 12, 1863. Brigade commanders included, among others, New Yorkers BG John C. Robinson and BG Charles K. Graham. (1995.3316)
