Author reading and book signing

Local Author Releases His First Work of Historical Fiction:
Benedict Arnold: Legacy Lost (A Ghost’s Story) by Will Martin
Will Martin will be at the New York State Military Museum, 61 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, New York 12866, for a reading of his latest book and book signing on March 3rd at 11AM - 1PM. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the New York state Military Museum.
A newly released historical fiction novel by Saratoga Springs author, Will Martin, blends a collage of facts, real characters, and plotline into a mystery that supports the theory that there is more to the story of Benedict Arnold than what history books reveal.
Within his novel, Will Martin describes Arnold’s struggles with George Washington, as well as friends and family, to remove the stain of treason from his name. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Arnold did not act alone in his treasonous act. And it was none other than George Washington who, in his struggle for power and influence during the formation of a new Nation’s government, kept the truth from surfacing.
As one of the millions of Americans who has wondered about Benedict Arnold’s actions, and one who has spent nearly 10 years researching the man and the truths behind the purported “facts,” the author has written Benedict Arnold: Legacy Lost (A Ghost's Story) to cast this controversial American figure in a new light. Although some readers may find the novel’s portrayal of Arnold’s innocence troublesome; many will find its plotline intriguing. In the end, all readers will be lead to ask: What if?
