H. Q. June 1, 1862

The commander of each Regiment in the Brigade will send out a proper detail of moderate size to collect and bury their dead.  Each detail will be under the charge of a skillful commissioned officer & they will be careful not to go beyond our lines.  The detail will get such tools & equipments as they can procure.  Let the detail be sent out at once & perform the duty with dispatch.
