Pvt. Freeman Miller Back to 49th Regiment During the Civil War
Freeman Miller: Age, 18 years. Enlisted August 21st, 1861 at Harmony. Mustered into Company G as a private August 30th, 1861 for a three-year tour of duty. Promoted to corporal May 4th, 1863 and re-enlisted as a veteran December 16th, 1863. Wounded in action May 6th, 1864 at the Wilderness Va. Transferred to Company A September 17th, 1864 and wounded in action October 19th, 1864 at Cedar Creek, Va. Discharged for disability March 25th, 1865. Back to 49th Regiment During the Civil War
