Sgt. Robert F. Beasley Back to 62nd Regiment During the Civil War
Robert F. Beasley: Age, 20 years. Enlisted May 12th, 1861 at New York City. Mustered into Company A as a corporal June 30th, 1861 for a three-year tour of duty. Promoted to sergeant August 26th, 1861 and re-enlisted as a veteran February 5th, 1864. Wounded in action May 5th, 1864 at the Wilderness, VA. And died of his wounds May 9th, 1864 at Fredericksburg VA. Back to 62nd Regiment During the Civil War
