Cpt. Harmon J. Bliss Back to 72nd Regiment During the Civil War
Harmon J. Bliss: Age, 30 years. Enrolled May 28th, 1861 at Westfield. Mustered into Company G as a captain July 23rd, 1861 for a three-year tour of duty. Wounded in action May 3rd, 1863 at Chancellorsville, Va. Died of his wounds June 6th, 1863.
