Private William Keane: Residence was not listed; 19 years old. Enlisted on 6/20/1861 at New York City, NY as a Private. On 7/7/1861 he mustered into "C" Co. NY 74th Infantry. On 7/8/1861 he was transferred from Company C to Company B. He was promoted to corporal and re-enlisted on 12/30/1863. On 6/28/1864 he was transferred from Company B to Company I.
He was transferred to "G" Co. NY 40th Infantry on 7/27/1864 or 8/3/1864. He was Mustered Out on 10/9/1864.
