Capt. Andrew Jackson Grover Back to 76th Regiment During the Civil War
Andrew Jackson Grover: Age, 31 years. Enrolled September 16th, 1861 at Cortland. Mustered into Company A as a captain October 8th, 1861 for a three-year tour of duty. Wounded in action August 28th, 1862 at Gainesville, Va. and discharged for disability December 20th, 1862. Enrolled again and mustered in as a major March 10th, 1863.
