Scope and Content
This series of records relate to the New York National Guard and New York Guard
units stationed in Malone, N.Y. from 1878 to 1947. The series contains company
journals, descriptive books, duty rosters, order books, financial records, photographs
and other records dealing with the operation of the company. Included is a large
group of military personnel records jackets from 1917 to 1948. These record
jackets contain an individual soldier’s service record, enlistment record,
discharge information, marksmanship record, descriptive list, etc.
