Change of Command at 153rd Troop Command

BUFFALO-- (Left to Right) Col. Fred Kubus, outgoing commander of the 153rd Troop Command; Brig Gen. Michael Swezey, commander of the 53rd Troop Command; and Lt. Col. Reginald Sanders, incoming commander of the 153rd Troop Command, review the troops as they prepare to execute the change of command ceremony for the New York Army National Guard's 153rd Troop Command on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Connecticut St. Armory.
The 153rd, A brigade level subordinate unit of the 53rd Troop Command,is responsible for commanding New York National Guard Soldiers and Airmen responding to state emergencies in western New York.
