New York Army National Guard Lt. Col. Mike Hoblin (center right), commander of the 1st Battalion, 258th Field Artillery, congratulates Sgt. 1st Class Raymond Morales from Battery B as part of the battalion's presentation of this year's Ancient Order of Saint Barbara Dec 1.
In the foreground is Staff Sgt. Carlos Morel from Battery A and in the background Capt. Marc Lindemann from Battery B. All three received their honorary award on behalf of the U.S. Army Field Artillery Association.
The Ancient Order recognizes those Soldiers of the artillery community for conspicious service over careers that embodied the sense of commitment of Saint Barbara, the patron saint of the field artillery community.
