EAST SYRACUSE--Major General Patrick Murphy (far left) the Adjutant General, discusses issues surrounding support to civil authorities with (from left, Col. The annual meeting brings together key leaders and joint task force commanders from across the New York Military Forces to refine plans for aiding local and state government when directed to do so by the governor.

More than a dozen Naval Militia Members underwent training Friday. The training was designed to help them better handle waterborne calamaties after Hurricane Sandy and Tropical Storm Irene.
