WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama listens as Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano administers the oath of allegiance during a military naturalization ceremony for service members in the East Room of the White House, July 4, 2012. Three New York Army National Guard Soldiers participated in the ceremony, becoming U.S. citizens. Standing third from left, front row, is Spc. Alla Victorovna Ausheva, from Company G of the 427th Brigade Support Battalion. The unit supports the 1st Battalion 258th Field Artillery. Also attending was Staff Sgt. Daniel Arcenal Geneta, born in the Philippines. Geneta joined the New York Army National Guard in 2006 and is a squad leader in the 719th Transportation Company. The third Soldier to attend was Spc.
