Air National Guard training will cause increased noise at Fort Drum ranges April 21-23

FORT DRUM, NY (04/20/2015)(readMedia)-- Beginning on Tuesday, April 21 and through Thursday, 23 April there will be higher than normal levels of training noise coming from Range 48 in the vicinity of Antwerp and Fowler.

The anticipated noise should not be a cause for alarm.

Fort Drum Range 48 will be used by the Air Force's 104th Fighter Squadron from Warfield Air National Guard Base, Middle River, Maryland and the 134th Fighter Squadron from Burlington, Vermont for training during daytime-hours. The training is in preparation for future missions.
