This ceremony marked the change of responsibility from outgoing senior enlisted advisor 1st Sgt. William Perez to incoming Plaza who became the first female in the company's history to assume the role of first sergeant of the company.

NEW YORK, NY--Soldiers assigned to the New York National Guards 719th Composite Truck Company uses several M1075 palletized load system and M1078 light modular tactical vehicles for a unit movement operation during annual training at Harlem Regiment Armory New York NY July 19 2022. The 719th CTC is a light composite organization that has the assets required to provide a full array of transportation support.

Eric Samson the incoming commander of the 719th Composite Truck Company holds the guidon with the units colors as he takes charge of the responsibility and authority of the company during a change of command ceremony at the Camp Smith Training Site Cortlandt Manor N.Y. Feb. 6 2022. Lt. Col. Michael Bedryk commander of the 369th Special Troops Battalion passed the guidon to Samson during the ceremony that marked the change of the 719th Composite Truck Company's commander from outgoing Capt. Seun Ogunkoya to incoming Samson.

Soldiers Aide Residents at Javits

NEW YORK--New York Army National Guard Spc. Keitho Henry a heavy truck operator assigned to the 719th Composite Truck Company assists registration agents assigned to the New York State Department of Health with safe and orderly movement of NY residents in support of state efforts to provide mass COVID-19 vaccinations administered by the New York State Department of Health at the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan New York January 31 2021. The National Guard has more than 350 Guardsmen and women deployed to the vaccination site to support staffing for the site. The New York State Department of Health conducts vaccination efforts for essential workers and members of the community over age 65 beginning January 13 2021. Eligible members of the public can register for a vaccine appointment through the Department of Health website httpswww1.nyc.govsitedohcovidcovid-19-vaccines.page.

Guard Forces prepare for storm

Ashaun Howard a motor transport operator attached to the 719th Transportation Company New York Army National Guard performs last minute checks on Humvees designated for use as part of the Guards response to the winter storms at Camp Smith Training Site N.Y. January 4 2017. The New York National Guard placed 80 Soldiers and Airmen on alert and deployed humvees to New York City to be used by Joint Task Force Empire Shield in preparation for the storm.

Diaz and other Soldiers of Joint Task Force Sandy are going door to door performing wellness checks and collecting data for local authorities. Since November, New York Army National Guard Soldiers have completed over 50,000 wellness checks.

Matthew Greenberg, a truck driver with the 719th Transportation Company, based in Harlem, hands a case of water to Michael Kissinger, a local volunteer to help aid people affected by Hurricane Irene here during the National Guard’s recovery efforts across the Catskills and upstate New York. More than 2,500 Soldiers and Airmen of the National Guard were called up by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo for the storm’s response and recovery missions.
