The Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) provides automated support to control the management and operation of the Army’s food service program. AFMIS provides the users with the capability to order, receipt, inventory, and invoice Class I supplies to include field rations. AFMIS supports the operation of Dining Facilities for Menu Planning, Production and Recipe Management, Automated Head Count and cash collection. NOTE: At this time the New York Army National Guard does not use AFMIS for ordering MRE’s or to order TISA draws.
As of 1 October 2013 AFMIS will be used to order all food items to include contract, catered and raw subsistence. All food service personnel are strongly encouraged to have user level access to the program. Every unit will have a minimum of two AFMIS trained user to request meals for both IDT and AT.

To request user access please send your request through the proper command channels to the appropriate General Officer Command (GOCOM) representative. All requests need to include the following:
In addition to the AFMIS access packet, you will need to register as a New User on the AFMIS Live website. Once New User registration is completed, forward your DOD CAC ID number and AKO email address to MNL-LM (SS) through proper command channels.
