History

The 22nd Regiment occupied a previous armory on this site from 1863 to 1890 which was demolished in 1894. Prior to this armory being built, the 9th occupied the following facilities:

  • 1860 - 1866 - NorthWest corner of White and Elm
  • 1866 - 1897 - 221 West 26th Street
