1861:04:16 At a meeting in Buffalo yesterday, it was resolved to raise three
regiments.
1861:04:16 Capt. J. Owen Moore is raising a co.; intends to open recruiting office
on Broadway opposite the Delavan House.
1861:04:16 Capt. Michael Cassidy, formerly of Worth Guards, has opened a recruiting
office in the First Ward. Several other gentlemen engaged in the same work.
