Diary of James M. Malbone
The diary and notebook of Lt. James M. Malbone, Company B, 6th Virginia Infantry, CSA includes entries for 1863 and 1864. This pocket book contains diary entries, accounts, poetry and copies of letters and documents to and from Malbone. The provenance of this diary is uncertain.
James M. Mallone (aka Malbone, Malbon) enlisted on 3/25/1862 at Interior Line as a Private. On 3/25/1862 he mustered into "B" Co. VA 6th Infantry.
