Monument at Gettysburg for Battery B 1st NY Artillery in the Civil War
The line of the Emmitsburg Raod in the background, the Codori Farm on the right and the Rogers House on the left centre. The interevening fields were crossed by Pickett's Division in advancing to the assult on the third day.

INSCRIPTIONS
Front: BATTERY B, 1ST NEW YORK LIGHT ARTILLERY. ARTILLERY BRIGADE, 2D CORPS.
Reverse: POSITION HELD AFTERNOON OF JULY 3, 1863. CASUALTIES KILLED 10 WOUNDED 16.
Right Side: MUSTERED INTO SERVICE AUG. 31, 1861. PARTICIPATED IN 78 DAYS OF BATTLE MUSTERED OUT OF SERVICE JUNE 18, 1865.
Left Side: ORGANIZED AT BALDWINSVILLE ONONDAGA Co. NEW YORK.
