National Guard Family Readiness Group Holds Mothers Day March

Soldiers Moms and wives of 2nd Battalion -108th Infantry of the and other National Guard Soldiers and interested people from the Glens Falls area, or anybody who wants to support the military
WHAT:
Members of the Glens Falls Family Readiness Group, which supports families of New York Army National Guard Soldiers, will hold a Mothers Day March to show solidarity with National Guard Soldiers deployed in Afghanistan on Mothers Day. Walk along two mile route from the Glens Falls Armory on Warren St, along Glen St. to Crandall Park.

Glens Falls Armory and Crandall Park, Glens Falls, NY.
The Glens Falls Family Readiness Group is holding this event to call attention to the Soldiers from the area who belong to the 2nd Battalion 108th Infantry and are currently deployed in Afghanistan, or who have been deployed. Refreshments will be sold to participants in Crandall Park and participants are welcome to make a donation to the group. Participants are also being asked to make a small donation to help ship supplies to Soldiers overseas. Dana Marcotte who is the mother of two Soldiers will be available for media interviews.
