WHO:

Eleven members of the New York Guard's 89th Army Band. Directed by Douglas Hedwig, part of the New York Guard Army Band's mission is to support the Army National Guard for home defense and to serve our communities in times of need.

WHAT:

PURPLE HEART HALL OF HONOR, VAIL'S GATE, N.Y. -- Following in the grand tradition of military unit bands, the New York State Guard Band performs the stirring songs that set the troops to marching and comforted the folks at home. Rain or shine, come enjoy a Sunday afternoon full of music.
