LATHAM, NY (10/10/2008)-- AllState General Contracting, Inc of West Seneca, N.Y. has received a $1,162,700.00 contract to replace the skylight at the Masten Ave National Guard armory in Buffalo. The bid was awarded on September 19th and the work is due to be finished by October 2009. This project replaces a monolithic existing skylight atop the drill shed floor. Dimensions are roughly 260 x 35 feet and include 256 skylight panels. The project also includes hazardous material remediation. The project was designed with input from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic.
