New York Army National Guard At The Clinton County Fair

PLTATTSBURGH, NY (07/20/2010)-- Reporters looking for a different kind of story at the Clinton County Fair are invited to stop by the New York Army National Guard Recruiting tent. Reporters can talk to recruiters, and talk with fair visitors testing their marksman ship with Airsoft replicas of the Army's M-4 rifle.

Background:
The New York Army National Guard, with a membership of about 10,500 Soldiers is currently at 100 percent strength. National Guard Recruiters, though, are continually seeking new Soldiers to fill job and education opportunities available in units across the state.
Throughout the summer months New York Army National Guard recruiters will be manning booths at country fairs to let the public and potential Soldiers know more about the force.
