LATHAM, NY (01/14/2013)-- New York Air National Guard Senior Master Sgt. Karolyn De Vito, a Stillwater resident, has been named Wing Airman of the Year by the 109th Airlift Wing. De Vito is the superintendent of nursing services for the 109th Airlift Wing's 139th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. In civilian life DeVito, a 15-year veteran of the New York Air National Guard, is a physical education teacher at Mohonasen Central School District in Rotterdam. She is a 1995 graduate of Mechanicville High school. Her parents, William and Rita Maloney live in Melrose, while her sister Amy Hoag lives in Troy.
