LATHAM--New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 827th Engineer Company prepare to hoist the AH-1S Cobra attack helicopter displayed in front of Division of Military and Naval Affairs headquarters off its pedestal on Thursday, Oct. 25. The helicopter, once flown by New York Army National Guard aviators, will be cleaned and repainted before being remounted once again. The exercise gave the engineers a chance to practice using their crane, said Lt. Col. James Freehart, the commander of the 204th Engineer Battalion.
