NEW YORK -- New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 1501st Quartermaster Company (Field Feeding) set up a field kitchen as part of the Veteran Food Festival hosted by the South Street Seaport Foundation at the South Street Seaport on May 25, 2025. The event-- conducted as part of Fleet Week-- was designed to give veterans insight into jobs in the food service industry and let the public learn about military food specialists. Food service specialists from the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard also participated. Chef Jaume Biarnes also showed the military cooks ways to prepared MREs in exciting ways at the Yondu Culinary Studios.

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP--Pies prepared by the Soldiers of the New York Army National Guards 1501st Quartermaster Company, are lined up in the dining facility at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania on Nov. 17, 2024. The soldiers of the 1501st, a field feeding company, assigned to the 369th Sustainment Brigade, provided meals for 42nd Infantry Division Soldiers conducting a command post exercise the week of Nov. 22-26. This was the first large scale mission conducted by the company.
