QUEENS-- New York Army National Guard Soldier assigned to the 37th Financial Management Support Detachment take a group photograph along with Brig. Gen. Michael Swezey, commander of the 53rd Troop Command, and New York State Command Sgt. Major Louis Wilson on Sunday, August 9 during their Freedom Salute Ceremony at the Whitestone Armory. The Soldiers recently returned from a deployment where they managed finance offices in Kuwait and Jordan.

More than 45 Soldiers and family members attended the event that provides Citizen Soldiers and their families with access to information about services all related to the transition from Soldier back to Citizen. "This weekend is all about you and your family," Swezey told the group.
