BUFFALO--Lt. Col. Michael Fowler incoming commander of the 153rd Troop Command New York Army National Guard hands the 153rd guidon to Sgt. Maj. Martin Foos sergeant major of the 153rd during a change of command ceremony for the 153rd Buffalo N.Y. May 21 2017. The passing of the guidon symbolizes the transfer of authority from one commander to another as Lt. Col. Michael Fowler takes command of the 153rd. from Col. James Freehart.

James Pabis who will become the deputy commander of the 153rd Troop Command.
