The members of the 107th Airlift Wing, based at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, were in Australia building a new facility at the H.E. Holt Naval Communications Station which will allow the installation of a new deep space surveillance radar being shipped from Antigua. ANZAC Day commemorates the heroism of the Australian and New Zealand Corps during World War I and in all conflicts since then, and is similar to Memorial Day in the United States.
