SYLVA, NORTH CAROLINA--New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Sam Sacco works with Jackson County public works employees to offload food and water from a New York Army National Guard CH-47 at the Jackson County Airport in Sylva North Carolina on October 1 2024 during missions to support the North Carolina National Guard as it responds to Hurricane Helene.The New York Army National Guard dispatched three CH-47s assigned to Company B 3rd Battalion 126th General Support Aviation Battalion in support of the North Carolina National Guard on Sept. 29 2024.
