New York Family Readiness Support Assistants (FRSA)
The function of the FRSA is to provide local assistance in all aspects of the Commands Family Readiness program. The FRSA provides assistance and training to the Commander, Rear Detachment Commander, units,volunteers and Family Members to ensure accomplishment of all Deployment Cycle Support (DCS) tasks.
The FRSA is to assist with Family Readiness by providing accessible familiar communication channels for Family Members, unit staff and community support services; promoting and facilitating the use of existing Family Program support services and providing administrative support to both the volunteer led FRG and the Unit Command Team
