Military Family Assistance Center
One Call Does it All

Family Assistance Centers are located around the nation to serve the needs of Servicemembers, their Families, veterans, or survivors by providing Six Essential Services. These centers offer information and referral services to all Servicemembers and their Families regardless of their branch of service or duty status.

NYARNG Family Assistance Centers are located in different geographic locations around the state. Each Family Assistance Center serves the Servicemembers and their Families that live in that area. Not being located near a military installation or facility is no longer a roadblock to getting services and support. Family Assistance Centers can provide assistance and services that you need where you live. Each Family Assistance Center (FAC) is staffed with a Family Assistance Specialist (FAS)

The six essential services that FAS's provide are crisis intervention, legal resource information and referral, financial resource information and referral, TriCare information, ID cards and DEERS information, and Community resource information and referral.

New York Army National Guard FAS' are ready to help assist wherever needed. Located in nine NY locations, FAS's are easy to reach, one-stop shops for information and referral.
